Currency note. Billing is JPY. USD figures are approximate at ¥150/$ and will vary with your card network's FX rate on the charge date. Stripe calculates Japanese consumption tax (10%) and adds it to the Paid invoice (税別 / tax-exclusive). Foreign-issued cards work without extra setup.

FAQ

What happens if I hit the Free 100 req/day cap?

The API returns 429. Subscribe to Paid (¥0.5/req) and the cap is removed immediately — no daily limit, pay only for what you use.

Is there a volume discount at high usage?

Not at launch. A single rate keeps the pricing page readable. If you are consistently above 1 M req/month and want a custom rate, email us — but we default to the public price for everyone.

Can I issue multiple API keys?

Yes, one per environment is common. Rotate or revoke from the billing portal; each key bills against your single metered subscription.

What data does the API cover?

As of April 2026: 6,771 Japanese programs across subsidies, loans, tax incentives, and certifications. Agriculture has full exclusion coverage; non-agri exclusions expand during Weeks 2-4 post-launch.

Invoicing (インボイス)?

Stripe Tax issues a qualified invoice in JPY with invoice-registration number T8010001213708 (Bookyou K.K., registered 2025-05-12). The invoice is itemised per billing period with req count × unit price and 10% JCT.
